Dash Cam Fitting Deposit — Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Deposit Payments
- A deposit is required to secure your mobile fitting appointment no exceptions.
- The total cost to be paid will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- No appointment slot is officially reserved until the full deposit is cleared.
- Asking when we next have availability is not an agreement of booking.
- Deposits must be paid via our accepted secure payment methods before work begins.
- This deposit amount covers a maximum distance of upto 20 miles from our workshop location. If you are outside this range please make us aware during conversation.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Deposits are strictly non-refundable. Only pay if you can commit to the date and time agreed.
- You may reschedule your appointment once without losing your deposit, provided you give us at least 48 hours' notice.
- If you reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, a new deposit will be required to book a new slot.
- If we must cancel due to severe weather or emergencies, your deposit will transfer to a new date or be fully refunded.
3. Customer-Supplied Hardware Compatibility
- If you supply your own dash cam, you are responsible for ensuring it works correctly.
- You must ensure you have all the required hardwire kits, memory cards, and original cables. If not we can supplies these at additional cost.
- For mobile fittings, If we arrive and cannot complete the installation because your equipment is faulty, incomplete, or incompatible, the deposit is forfeited.
- A new deposit and call-out fee will apply if we have to return on a different day.
4. Vehicle Condition and Requirements
- please keep valuables with you, areas like the glovebox and boot should be emptied or preferably contents placed into a bag and to one side.
- any vehicle faults or warning lights will be checked for before work commences.
- For mobile fittings, the vehicle must be parked in a safe, legal, and accessible workspace with adequate lighting.
- For mobile fittings, there must be enough space around the vehicle for the installer to open the doors fully.
- You must disclose if your vehicle is an Electric Vehicle (EV), Hybrid, or has complex aftermarket wiring before booking.
- If the installation cannot go ahead due to an unsafe environment or undisclosed vehicle modifications, the deposit is non-refundable.
5. Final Balance Settlement
- The remaining balance of the agreed total cost is due immediately upon completion of the installation, by the method of payment agreed.
We accept cash, major debit/credit cards, or immediate bank transfers on-site.
